A bit about me
Colorado is my home, I'm a native and I've lived here my whole life. It's always been beautiful and amazing but it's recently become a very popular destination and it's about time if you ask me. The secret is finally out, Denver rules.
I went to college in Northern Colorado and earned a BA in Music and Psychology, so naturally I became a Website Developer. In my former life, I was a full time musician, dj and producer. These days I spend most of my time running an internet company called NetSense Media doing all sorts of wonderful things for people. It seems I have special powers in the matrix and I use my kung fu problem solving skills to guide people through the digital universe.
Apparently, I'm some kind of an expert because I get to travel and share stuff I know with people all over the world. Nobody is more blown away by that than me. I'm really just a walking encyclopedia of nerdy tech knowledge and random pop culture nonsense. I kid around a lot but I have just as much passion for my craft and I take my work seriously. I love to learn new things and I constantly push my own limits. I'm grateful that what I do helps people and has a positive impact on the world, it fuels my passion for life.
I would classify myself as human. Possibly part robot, not exactly normal and definitely not perfect. My default setting is maximum overdrive: I move fast and I talk faster. My other settings include: intense, emotional, excited, passionate, ridiculous, melodramatic and sleeping. I’m impatiently waiting on a patience upgrade and I’m not sure if my brain-to-mouth filter will ever function properly - it seems to be stuck in the off position. I can't do much about any of that, it's how I was programmed at the factory.
Big Picture Thinking
I’m always looking at the big picture and I’ve always got a plan. Strategizing, coordinating and organizing are my strengths. As a leader I always put the goal first then find the best way for everyone to get there. I challenge people to do their best, then I push them to do better. I encourage people to shine and use their unique talents at full power because that's how amazing things happen. It’s not about any one person, it’s about working together and making the whole greater than the sum of it’s parts. It’s about success for all and working towards a goal that benefits everyone. It’s a beautiful thing when it all comes together.
My mind constantly runs wild with crazy ideas and big dreams. I’ve found they have a funny way of coming true if I believe in myself and put in the work. It never ceases to amaze me what can happen when I open my mind to the possibilities. I see things from a unique perspective and I'm always looking for new ways to do everything. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but it's all part of the journey. Some people think I’m crazy and I don’t blame them. All I know is that it makes sense in my head. It’s about making good things happen and they often do.
Work Hard, Play Harder
All work and no play makes Clifford a very cranky boy. I need to get crazy every once in a while. It's mandatory for my sanity as well as the sanity of those around me. I love music, especially electronic music. On the weekends you might find me holding down a dance floor until the last record drops. I love to play golf, and sometimes I manage to not embarrass myself while doing so.
I love the outdoors, nature, the stars & moon, animals, plants, gardening and cooking. I've got some skills in the kitchen that I put to good use, especially when I'm hungry. I make jewelry to wear and share, it's fun and I obviously needed another hobby. I particularly enjoy any activity that does not involve my computer, I like to unplug from the matrix whenever possible.
I enjoy a stiff drink at the end of the day. I like beer, wine and cocktails, but I’m definitely a scotch on the rocks type of guy. I max out during my free time because I usually don’t have much to spare so I party like a rock star when time permits. Life is short so enjoy it while you can, that's my policy.
I travel a lot and I love it. Most of my travels revolve around the Joomla community and the work I do, but I always find time to explore. I want to see as much of the world as I can while I’m still here to see it. I crave adventure and welcome the unknown. I love to see places I’ve never seen before, meet new people, try new cuisine and learn about other cultures. I don’t need to go anywhere to find what I have at home, I want to see how people live in their corner of the world and make that experience my own. I’m fortunate to have visited some amazing places and I’ve made friends all over the world. I can’t wait to see more.
